First of Saturday stages (Vargåsen 1) wasn’t lucky for Poles – Maciej Oleksowicz and Andrzej Obrębowski had problems with engine in their Ford Fiesta S2000. Unfortunately engine did not start to work properly.

Maciej Oleksowicz:

– We have finished the first special stage, but we can’t continue to race. Our engine is broken down. On the stage it did not have enough power. Engine wasn’t working as it should. After finishing the stage we stopped to check what’s going on, but we were unable to find reason of these problems. Now we have to go to service park and there our team will have three hours to find out what’s wrong. If we manage to fix the engine, you will see us tomorrow on the stages.

Before this breakdown Poles were fifth in SWRC class.
